Swiss Open Geneva

Datum: 19.07.2022 – 23.07.2022

Ort: Genève

Dear all

I hope this message finds all of you well !

On behalf of the Organising Committee I would like to cordially invite you to the 35th edition of the Swiss Open. Please find attached the entry form with all the relevant information. I would kindly ask you to complete and send it back at your earliest convenience. Closing deadline is 3 weeks prior to the tournament.

After our enormous success we had last year with our new venue despite the weather conditions - it will be better this year! -, we are thrilled and very grateful to the Tennis-Club Drizia Miremont for being again a generous and welcoming host. We will play on more courts this year and have also taken your feedback into account and you can expect an upgrade to the sanitary installations. We will also continue our successful cooperation with Ramada Encore as our accommodation partner.

You will also note that there was a change in the tournament calendar, whereby the Swiss Open swapped with the British Open and will now immediately precede the Belgium Open allowing for two successive tournaments on clay. At the same time the British Open will follow Wimbledon.

Most importantly we are looking forward to a tournament under less restrictive circumstances. We are planning at this stage with a “back-to-normal” tournament schedule allowing us to play a consolation for each of the categories.

However, Covid is still with us and - even if Switzerland may not impose any restrictions for the time being - I would kindly ask you to follow potential restrictions applicable during your journey. We will monitor the situation as well and reach out in case there are changes in Switzerland.

Do not hesitate to contact me with any question you might have. Please include Bilyana ( in all your email correspondence, since she will be your primary contact for all travel and hotel arrangements.

In the meantime I wish you a successful and healthy tennis season and we are looking forward to welcoming you in Geneva.

Best wishes and stay safe,

Tournament Director Swiss Open
